Assisting Refugees from Gaza Resettling in Australia
Community Care Kitchen have assisted our sister international charity Merciful Group in international efforts to provide essential aid in Gaza since October 2023. To date, our combined efforts have raised over 1 million dollars in assistance.
Community Care Kitchen has since focused our efforts locally to assist refugees arriving from Gaza, while Merciful Group continue to provide aid and essentials on the front lines within Gaza while the genocide rages on. We take a moment to remember 3 members of the Merciful Group Team who lost in their lives in Gaza while in service to the Palestinian people. Israel continues to target charity workers from MG, UNRWA and Doctors Without Borders.
Our services to Gazan refugees include bond payments, rental assistance, visa payment assistance, furniture, white goods, groceries, clothes and social activities which are held multiple times a month at both The Culinary School in Punchbowl and at sporting fields across Western Sydney in collaboration with S2S Sports Australia.
