Community Care Kitchen in collaboration with local dessert businesses, including Doms Strawberries Delights and Strawberries and Cream SY have created the #NormaliseKindness initiative. We aim to bring a little joy to the lives of extraordinary parents during lockdown.
Lockdown2021 has been a difficult time on parents, especially parents who were already living below the poverty line pre-covid. Parents have had to fill the role of parent, provider, teacher, instructor, mediator, doctor, friend and many other roles while trying to maintain jobs, finances and their own mental health wellbeing.
CCK look after hundreds of families who live below the poverty line, already struggling to survive comfortably. Every week of September, we will choose 20 parents within the community deserving of these boxes, while also helping out a local business! You can nominate an extraordinary parent below or donate to CCK and provide a NormaliseKindness box to a family doing it tough this lockdown.
